A Casual Relationship - Is This a Good Idea, Or Will it Break Your Heart?

Do you have a casual relationship with someone? Do you feel that since you are not in love and will not fall in love with each other, that this is a good thing? Please consider the following:


There Used to Be a Potato Chip commercial - It would say about their chip something like, bet you can't eat just one. This was a sure bet, because that 1 would stimulate your appetite. You may have put that 1 chip in your mouth not even wanting that 1, but it made you want more.


Love is Like That
It may be that we just want a friendship. We do NOT want to be his girlfriend. We may NOT feel that this is the guy we want as our boyfriend / husband / lover / soul mate. We are just looking for a casual relationship, someone to keep away the loneliness. But after that first bite, we want more.


What Does He Want?
He may say he wants a casual relationship; a friendship. But the truth may be that he is looking for friends with benefits arrangements, or a sexual hookup; a fling. But now, when you are developing warmer feelings, your situation is hopeless. He does not feel the same way.


You Will Feel Used
When your feelings of romance and wanting more than flowers and movies develops, the situation will become awkward. When he dumps you, your heart will break. You will realize just how casual and unimportant the casual relationship was to him.
